When I started to "fit-in" the DEMEANING did not stop, Management doesn't care. It's hard to find a job that offers decent benefits and decent pay in my area.
When you do ask questions they will pick on you and continue to DEMEAN you. Not a healthy work environment to go home after a shift mentally. When you do go management they take the side of the person who have been there the longest. I've had customers help cheer me up on the occasion. They make everything the new employees fault for not knowing certain terms, and publicly make fun of their shortcomings. Employees who have spent +5 years working at the store DEMEAN new employees even though they are short staff. There are sale associates who think they are managers. Working at Lowe's has it's up and downs mostly downs.
